Dr. Bijan Afar, DDS
Dr. Afar earned his DDS and a Master of Science in Oral Biology from the UCLA School of Dentistry, and completed specialty training in periodontology and oral implantology at the University of Washington, Seattle.
He is a recipient of the California State Fellowship, Hortense Fishbaugh's Fellowship, and an NIH Dentist-Scientist Fellowship. Together with his multi-specialty team, he leads Allure Dental Arts with a focus on careful diagnosis, clear communication, and treatments that fit your life.

Plan for about an hour. You will fill out new-patient paperwork (or bring it pre-filled), meet your dentist and hygienist, get a gentle exam and any needed X-rays, and review a clear plan for next steps. Bring your photo ID and insurance card.

Yes. We reserve time each day for same-day emergency appointments. If you have a knocked-out tooth, severe pain, swelling, or a broken tooth, call us at (626) 246-1200 right away.
Yes. Our team includes a pediatric dentist who is experienced in helping children feel relaxed at the dentist. We see kids from their first tooth through their teenage years.
Yes. We offer several sedation options for patients who feel anxious or who are having longer procedures. Your dentist will review what is appropriate for you and answer any questions before treatment.
Invisalign cost depends on how complex your case is and how long treatment takes. After a short consultation, we can give you a clear estimate and review your insurance coverage and financing options.
